The GEDI team continues to work towards the planned return to service of its lidar instrument. The robotics maneuvers, targeted for late day Eastern on 22 APR and completing overnight into 23 APR, will return GEDI to its previous operational home from its current hibernation location. While this is the planned time frame, other ISS operations may cause delays in its reinstallation. Once the instrument is powered back on, the GEDI mission flight team will check the performance of all systems leading to the resumption of GEDI on-orbit data collection as soon as possible.
